Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Bertha Osorio-Campbell was born in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua and moved to South Florida at the age of 4 when her parents immigrated in the 1980s due to the Sandinistas Revolution. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and has a passion for learning and teaching others. She is able to connect to her patients on a deeper and more personal level because of her own healing journey in losing over 160 pounds holistically.
Ms. Campbell earned her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University and is nationally board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She worked for over 9 years as a registered nurse caring for adults and premature infants in the intensive care unit as well as teaching nursing students prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse.
Ms. Campbell has specialties in functional/integrative medicine, anti-aging, and hormone replacement. She is known for being devoted to improving the overall health of her patients by treating each person as a whole and caring for their individual needs. She is adept at treating a variety of conditions– from gut disorders to hormone imbalance– with a focus on preventative and natural remedies to achieve optimum wellbeing. She has extensive training in the field of medical aesthetics, which includes the use of injectables and laser therapies. She actively speaks and teaches at conferences around the country on functional medicine and aesthetics and has her own consulting firm.
Outside of work, Ms. Campbell strongly advocates for health by routinely volunteering and serving on reputable charities that aim to empower individuals of all ages to take their health to the next level. She is the founder of Mind Body Spirit, Reformers LLC– an organization that aims to empower individuals, build communities, and transform food systems to support healthier people and a healthier environment. She pledges to seek the truth and inspire others to do the same in order to live a longer, healthier, happier, and spirit-filled life. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and raising her vibrations through meditation and mindfulness.
